Sale on Sale

Kate Spade is having a special sale ending July 8:
an extra 25% off selected sale items.
I love the quirk and wit of KS.
How funny would it be to carry this to a Grand Slam event?
And pull out this coin purse.
These shoes are striking. Wish my size was available.
Pretty silk dress.

Some things are going fast. I missed out on a really cute short coat.
Very Audrey, and in a beautiful shade of blue. :(
What do you think, are you going to check out the sale?
Do tell!

  1. Oh I'm going to look, even though they'd on't ship here, the coin purse would be great for Wimbledon!

  2. Well I did find a necklace! I had it shipped to my Dad's so I won't see it until August when I go to visit him in Georgia.
They ship to Canada but they charge $50, and then duty slapped on top of it (sometimes) makes it potentially NO bargain.
Love the whimsy of Kate Spade, I so agree. It's fun, which is what it should be!

    1. Oh I can't wait to see what you picked out, I'm certain it will be lovely.

I had no idea the expense for shipping out of the country, it does make the bargains not so much so. :(

I have a post coming up where I will share a bit of the KS whimsy. ;)

  4. Ah ha, that turf tote is so fun! Granted, not necessarily fun enough that I may purchase it, but it look adorable!

    1. It'd be good for a football game or baseball or soccer ... but you're right, not necessarily one to purchase. ;)

  5. Can't wait to see your next post. I got a couple things. Will hopefully share in a day or two. That final sale business kills me, though.

    1. My next post is probably not going to be on this, stuff takes forever to get to me. I can't wait to see what you got!

I hate final sale too, no matter who it is that's doing it. :(

  6. Fabulous finds, I like Kate Spade line a lot- very distinct style. I have few friends who are in high fashion business in NYC, we talked about designers , who they worked with, liked etc... Interestingly when I mentioned that I like KS and her style they told me that Kate Spade herself is no longer involved with the designing of her collections ( unlike Tory Burch or Michael Kors who are very hands on). So basically it's a team of designers with a vision who create KS line. I thought it was a peculiar fact. Ha ha , my friends did not like TB at all despite her involvement, they said she designs for the Houswives of whatever. I was influenced against my wishes and not buying TB anymore, lol...Do not want to seem provincial, ya know..

    1. I've just started dabbling with KS things and very impressed so far. I love the fun and color and the quality seems to be very good. I wonder when she stopped being hands on and whether that will be reflected in her collections. Thanks for passing that on. And interesting what learning about designers and what that does for your view in the future. Sometimes it makes you love it more and sometimes not. It's a little like seeing things on a public figure. It can make the item sell out or be highly sought after or make it so you won't wear it at all. I hear ya ... TB is ruined for you.

  7. I love the Kate Spade style but I always find her dresses too heavy a material and her waistlines too high (probably I've got a weird body) but the colour and lines are gorgeous. Milly is also one that has great vintagey patterns and more wearable lines. I have a great Kate Spade raffia-type bag with green trim that I love (also love her cardies which always fit.)

    1. I haven't tried her dresses so didn't know about the heavy material. I doubt you have a weird body, seems her designs tend to be high waisted for the cute factor. I love the sense of humor the most. My next post is going to be about that ... I think!
