It’s not my
intent to enable. But if any of you are in *need* of a pair of ankle boots,
ballet flats, espadrilles, flip flops, high tops, low tops, moccasins or mules,
pumps, sandals or slippers, may I recommend where I’ll likely buy all my
shoes for the rest of my life: yoox.com. It’s an Italian online shopping site with offices
and operations in the United States, Europe, Japan, China and Hong Kong. yoox.com
ships to 100+ countries and offers free shipping on orders of $150+.
In addition to fashion, yoox offers home furnishings/accessories,
gifts and art but I’m stuck on the shoes. It’s a little sad to expose my
shallow soul as almost every pair of shoes I’ve received from the splendid
source has made me deliriously happy (such as the purple brogues above or the four pairs below).

INK
now sold out, sorry! |
Most are Italian of delicious leather and
lovely workmanship. I haven’t returned much and from a couple experiences, I’d
vouch that “returns are fast and easy and customer care is best-in-class.” Though you only have 20 days to make your returns so you can't dither for too long.

PATRIZIA PEPE
now in size 8 only but only $69 before the discount! |
From now until March 31, you get another 10% off on fashion (and that means shoes too!) by using WINTERSPRING10 in the yooxcode box when checking out. Plus, ebates is offering 9% right now for yoox.com!
I think I can understand how Imelda ended up with all her shoes.
No enabling necessary for me, I'm already there. Love your picks Tiffany Rose, especially the purple oxfords and the Armani pumps. What is up with the camel toe ballets though? Awful. I looked at the violet cowboy boots you recommended and they are sweet but I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet. Husband wants to be at the cottage during Stampede this year, as far from Calgary as possible.
ReplyDeleteI love Yoox for Pucci, they have a different selection than the North American department stores, which seem to all have the same things. Hope all is well.
Of course you know about yoox, shoe girl! LOL, the camel toe ballet flats, you called them and yep they are indeed awful. Isn't it funny I've always wanted to go to the Stampede but I can understand how that crowd can take over. I hope you are where you want to be during that time.
DeleteI am a bit horrified how long it's been since everyone's visited and how rude I've been not replying ... all is well and better with each day :)
Those purple brogues and the Hunters, even though those don't work on me. I haven't bit on Yoox yet, but the deals are amazing. Thanks curating ;)
ReplyDeleteHi gigi, the deals can be addicting I'm afraid ;)
DeleteThanks for the feedback. I've ended up on the site often but never knew anyone who had ordered from them. Those Armanis you picked up are glorious!
ReplyDeleteI have ordered more than once or twice, I confess. I hit a dud once every so often but most have been scrumptious!
DeleteYoox and I are old friends, and I'm dithering over a pair of shoes right now!
ReplyDeleteHaha, WFF, let me know which way you went on that pair!
DeleteI love those purple oxfords! I am looking at some right now but being the best I can be....
ReplyDeleteThe purple pair is good. That's all I'll say for now. You are the best you can be .. ;)
DeleteThose Margiela's made me feel a bit ill...Yoox is dangerous in general I find!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to turn a blind eye to the rest, the shoes are trouble enough for me. The Margielas are pretty horrible aren't they? :P
DeleteYou are definitely enabling me! I am just worried about the cost of shipping (and possible return shipping) for Canada - it's pretty steep. Still, they have an amazing selection. I am eyeing a pair of lace-up oxfords. I never did like the knock-offs featured by most retailers these past few years, with the pointy toe and paper thin soles - I have always wanted a real pair of oxfords that look like they could be a pair of men's shoes from the 1920s-30s... not so easy to find!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize the shipping deal was not for everywhere, sorry! The selection is fantastic and I believe there are some wonderful choices fitting what you've been looking for, I love them too. Good luck on your search and let me know how you do!
DeleteYou are enabling me as well. Was just thinking how i could use some silver brogues like that and some slippers! yay!
ReplyDeleteYay! So did you get some silver brogues, Jody??
DeleteLuckily, I have a few hard-wired censors when it comes to buying things on the internet. As I so often find I am a different shoes size even between styles within one brand, I would have to buy multiple pairs in each style. And I hate sending things back.
ReplyDeleteThe homewares, however … I did not know yoox sold them. I am not going on their website. Repeat, not. Not. Er ...
Oh I am with you on the sending things back! It always sounds easy until you realize you have to do it and at times I don't keep up very well.
DeleteLa la la ... you did not hear about yoox homewares ... la la la ...
Just saying hi. Hope you're doing well :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for checking back, gigi, you sweetheart! I am doing better and better with each day :)
Deletepretty nice blog, following :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Skyline Spirit, and welcome! I'm coming over too :)
DeleteI really appreciate your professional approach. These are pieces of very useful information that will be of great use for me in future.
