Packing for Nine Days

Packing for Nine Days

Packing for Nine Days by tiffanyrose featuring ski sweaters
Good thing the business events are with completely different people
and not following days. I hope I don't get too warm or cold but think
I've planned some nice options. Hmm ... only a single pair of shoes
and my unfashionable but super warm and cozy uggs. I know the heels
are trusty comfortable but maybe I'll take a second pair. Just in case.
You never know, somebody could drop something gooey all over them.
That would be awful. I love, love, love these shoes.

This is cool how polyvore publishes.
It makes my packing list easy, easy.

See y'all soon!

    1. Thanks, Rose! It's been crazy but I'm finally relaxing at my dad's.

  2. Boy oh boy, I think I should hire you, that is fashion maths above, no wonder I make such a mess of packing.

    1. Hi Tabs! There are many more outfits possible but polyvore has a 50 item maximum.

  3. I am with Tabs! I bow at your feet! I am still working through the combos for my NYC trip - using polyvore is brilliant!

    1. You have to work around the 50 item max for each set but I love polyvore for virtual packing.

  4. 9 days? I would be ridiculous. 3 pairs of shoes minimum, etc... You're a packing star!

    1. Thanks, gigi! I hate packing shoes because they take a lot of room and add a lot of weight. I did take along a pair of dark blue flats and they came in handy.

  5. Too bad they don't bump you up to first class for having the lightest suitcase. You're packing skills are impressive! Happy travels!

    1. My suitcase is pretty petite since I want to be sure I can put it into the overhead bins without knocking somebody or myself in the head. When I get back, I'll put up a post about what I actually wore and some of my packing techniques for keeping things wrinkle free. ;)

  6. I think I have the opposite problem...my suitcase is usually filled with too many shoes and not nearly enough clothes...which usually means a heavy suitcase. Luckily, I don't travel much on my own because lifting heavy bags are what husband's are for:)

    1. haha, good thought, Sharon! But most of the time I'm traveling by myself for business and after struggling one time lugging a heavy suitcase I said never again. :)

  7. I am the worst packer ever because I always want to bring everything. You picked some really great items to bring. Thanks for sharing :)

    1. Thanks, Andrea! It takes a little planning and it's hard to resist taking some special things going on a trip but I'm always glad I'm disciplined enough to keep the number of things down when it comes to packing.

  8. Wow. love this! You are so disciplined and practical. And its winter which is even tougher. Have to take a few lessons from you - I never wear half my clothes that I take anywhere. How lovely that you are seeing you Dad too.

    1. As they say, layers and layers. I did tuck in just a couple extra things, including a very lightweight linen sweater in case I find they keep the indoors way too warm, which can happen in winter. I ended up wearing everything I brought along, except for that linen sweater.

Spending some time with my dad was the very best part and made all the travel inconvenience well worthwhile.
