Sailing in Fog

This pic proves that you'd be found in the fog if wearing the
scoopneck blouse in colorblock stripe (BTW, I'm wearing the regular and not petite)Gigi and Whitney blogged about it, and though I agree it reminds me of:

I did a little research and think it's supposed to remind you of:
Here's a clearer pic of me:
See the resemblance?
And just like the sailboat, I think it would look better with white bottoms;
I meant to wear it with white jeans.
However, I haven't yet gone into my summer pants pile ...
it will be one of my projects.

What are you up to this weekend?

  1. Oh it's a bright one! Taking mum out, lazing around, ooh weeding the garden as the rain has stopped, the gym, cocktails, the grocery shopping, Starbucks - hmm more than I thought. Have a good weekend.

    1. Yes it is, Tabitha, and a little obnoxious.

      I always have a ton of plans for the weekend but end up accomplishing only a fraction. And I get panicky on Sunday nights because where did the weekend go?

      I hope you got to spend some time with your mum and that she's well. :)

  2. I tried the top with white pants, not a good idea. Then last night I saw a girl wearing it over dark narrow jeans, she'd sized up the top so it really fluttered as she walked, and I must say I've been reconsidering that top...

    1. That's an interesting thought ... to size up! That may just be the way to make this top work better.

  3. I kind of love that top. And I think you look fab in it - with white or light denim or dark denim ...

    1. I've seen it looking pretty cute worn with white shorts, I'm likely going to try white cropped matchsticks or skinny dark denims next. Thanks so much for your kind comments. :)

  5. Ha! Do I look more like Ernie or Bert, or the sailboat? ;)
