Three Days in Fort Worth

Three Days in Fort Worth by tiffanyrose featuring cotton t shirts

No matter how hot it is where I'll be going, I'll always take my Luminosa puffer (aka my life jacket), a thin wool thermal tee and a scarf. You never know if they'll crank up the AC while you're stuck in that meeting room for hours.

See you in a few days!

  1. Tiffany, I should learn from you, wherever I go there is always a point when I am always freezing and whining about not having anything warm to put on, have fun!

    1. Tabitha, my best travel advice is thermal underwear, especially a very thin one of wool. They take hardly any room and add little weight. I almost always have one rolled up in my handbag when I travel. Makes a big difference if you put it under your top when it gets chilly.

  2. I have not seen the puffer in real life - is it bulky?

I am always cold! Last night at what was probably a hot concert for many, I kept my Jean jacket on till close to the end and only got warm as I was dancing so much!

    1. The Luminosa is the best because it's super thin for a down puffer. Not bulky at all so it folds down tiny. It has saved me so many times when I'm trapped in a room for a long meeting with the AC cranked up.

Sounds like you had so much fun. Dancing is the best for keeping warm!

  3. You're right, the hotter the place the cooler the air con. Love that puffer vest, just the right colour.

    1. There's a good reason I call it my life jacket! ;)

  4. Have a good time in Ft. Worth - gotta go to have dinner at Joe T. Garcia's - really well known for tex-mex and they have a huuuuuge outdoor garden area.

    1. Unfortunately, I had next to no time on my own while at Fort Worth. But! You won't believe where they held the group dinner!! Yes, at the very same Joe T. Garcia's you recommended. I will post a pic as proof. ;)

  5. Enjoy your business trip Tiffany Rose. You are smart to have layers for inside the office. I'm catching up on your posts after vacation, can't wait to see what I missed!

    1. Thanks so much, xoxo. I don't know if it's smarts or from suffering experiences.

I can't wait to catch up with everybody's posts after being gone a few days, coming over to yours over the weekend. And I have some posts to post too. ;)

    1. As far as biz trips go, it went fine, just a rather tense landing and an hour delay getting home.

But my packing plan was excellent, I'll have to say. Many were envious of my items for keeping warm since they were shivering during the meetings.
