My blog about random sparkly things and good intentions.
Yep I think it is a bit, it would look lovely on a little girl. Then again maybe on beach holiday as a cover up when it's cooler?
If you're known as the whimsical type then perhaps this could work for you. It's quite girlish and looks a bit like a home craft project IMO.
I know you girls are trying to be gentle with me on this :). And though I often "borrow" from the kids' line, I thought "you've got to be kidding" when I saw it. Yep agree it seems more appropriate for crewcuts and looks like DIY!Maybe we will think different once seen IRL or tried on. But! It's Collection and $148.
And I NEVER use the word twee but it was perfectly suitable for this sweatshirt.
I say go for it! ;-)
LOL. Think I have enough embellished sweatshirts to justify NOT adding this to my wardrobe (she says politely).
A few issues i have with this: (1) it's grey -- sooo tired of grey; (2) it's a sweatshirt -- enough with sweatshirts already; (3) it lacks cohesiveness -- the flowers looked pasted on, and the sporty / girly thing. Still, i would have to see it in person to form a final opinion.
Definitely agree with your points. Seeing it in person *might* make all the difference as grey is not very photogenic. But hmmm ... :[
Well, I'm not sure what your "age" is, but I am 50+ and I bought this, and have worn it, and I love it. If it feels good, you will look good! :D
I agree Suzy. If you love what you're wearing, you will look wonderful. I'm happy to hear you love this top. I've been pleasantly surprised by some things I've gone ahead and tried even with mostly bad reviews. I haven't seen this top IRL so am reserving final judgment. However, doubt I'll have a chance since I've heard it's sold out now.

I didn't know you had a blog (my old cashmere buying and selling buddy :). I just bought this. For some reason I really really wanted it, even though I originally dithered on the price (while it went out of stock). Missed the XXS so hoping the XS will work. I get what people think that for some it is a bit over the top but I like the look of the chiffon daisies and I just wanted to wear it as an alternative to my original haya sequin one which I love. I can let you know how it is if you like. Oh and I think I have a couple of cashmere cardis NWT that I don't know if you'd like them..? email me firstname.lastname@example.org
Hey Sydneygirl! So happy you found me. I started the blog almost inadvertently. Thought up the name. Reserved the blogsite for later. Then a few days later said wonder how hard this is to do let's try a draft post. The rest is ... well, not history but going down the trail! I may change my mind about this sweatshirt if I see it but I only have the online pic and description to go on. It's probably cute on you. Yes, let me know how it is when you get it!
Talk to me ... make my day! :)
