Pretty as a Picture

Had I been more clever or prepared, I'd have posted this
for the first day of spring or April Fools' Day.
If I'd told you it's a JC Collection capri that had
quickly sold out you'd likely have believed me.
But nope, they're from Anthropologie and long gone.
Unlined, 100% polyester.
They'd have been amazing if done in silk-wool.
Still I love, love, love them.
Because they remind me of my favorite artist Oscar-Claude Monet.
Sigh. April in Paris at the Musée de l'Orangerie ... take me away.
Will somebody arrange a field trip already?

  1. Those are utterly divine! And you're right. I probably would have believed they were J Crew.
    Beautiful outfit.

    1. Thanks, ruth! But if they were J.Crew, they'd be a lot more money, I think. ;)

    1. Thanks,Louise. I was lucky enough to find them on sale and in my size. I immediately thought of Monet and thank goodness they fit perfectly. I would have been sad to return them.

  4. I thought they were J.Crew before reading so I'm an April fool 5 days in yet. They are very pretty and perfect with the mauve sweater.

    1. They do look like something J.Crew would do and if in a wool-silk blend, might be a Collection item at $695. Or even if 100% poly. ;)

  8. Love these pants! Do they fit the same as J Crew cafe capris? I'm not familiar with Anthro sizing and wonder if it runs the same. Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Beach Chic Girl! I don't have a lot of experience with Anthro but since they carry many brands, the sizing can be tricky. These, from Leifsdottir, happened to fit smaller than what I'm used to from J.Crew. They are size 0 and fit like most of J.Crew's 00. BTW, the fabric has a lot of glimmer and iridescence not showing up in my pic in case that makes a difference to you. I hope this helps and let me know if you want to know more.
